Knowing to Not know

To not know what one wants,
We wonder what that must feel like.
To be lost and wandering,
as if on a random hike.

Insisting on things going our way,
oblivious to their natural course.
Insanity, one might say,
as it takes us far from our source.

Continuing the madness, all we do is coax,
only to see that our believing is nothing but a hoax.
Unknown realms of infinite experience,
await their turn to change our mind,
To meet the thoughts & feelings, that once seemed of a different kind.

The more we see, the less we know,
the more we must let it go.
But if you and I could do this,
life wouldn't be such a magic show.

Though magic it is, when we finally learn to be vulnerable,
All of life's ups and downs, suddenly feel so easily probable.
The moment starts to matter, in all its pain and glory,
And the inner voice quietly says 'whats the damn hurry?'

To know what to want, reveals itself as our only job,
Don't plan the how, the only essence of that is to rob.
Irony then, the problem itself is the solution,
'Knowing to not know', perhaps that should be our resolution.
